Anchored In Recovery is a peer led, recovery and support center that provides many resources and services to those in our community. The Recovery Support Center is a place where community members in recovery can come together in a supportive environment that promotes recovery, wellness, self-care activities, and development of friendships. We are a judgement-free zone.

All individuals will be equipped with access to recovery services, opportunities for involvement, and leadership roles, and a supportive environment that promotes recovery, wellness, self-care activities, and the development of friendships.

We are dedicated to ensuring that every individual feels seen, heard, and respected. We actively promote an environment where the experiences of our Peers, Members, Member Volunteers, staff, and community partners are valued and where all individuals have the opportunity to contribute, lead, and thrive in their recovery journey.

This year Our 3rd Annual IODA Vigil 8/20/2026 was authentic & touching.
Speakers included Member Kita, Staff member Jessica for member Rose. Scotty from MOAR - Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery, Gabriel from SADOD, Mr Valdez Clack Jr, Program coordinator Joe S with Amazing Grace, William Murphy from the City of Framingham public health department, state Rep. Kate Donaghue, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
In attendance were many partners and community members, RIA, Inc. NIPMUC chapter of Redrum Motorcycle Club, members had family come out- we were also honored to have our city Mayor Charlie Sisitsky, District 6 City Councilor Phil Ottaviani, State Rep.State Representative Priscila Sousa, Joseph Russo from Senate President Karen Spilkaβs office, District 3 City Councilor Mary Kate Feeney, and District 7 City Councilor Leora Mallach, members of the Framingham Health Department and South Middlesex Opportunity Council - SMOC

We had an amazing turnout and honestlyβ¦ the energy, love, and connection in the building was something special. β€οΈ
Big thank you to EDM Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Community Center for coming through and celebrating with us. We also want to show love to OUT Framingham and Sarah & Amy from the SAFE Coalition for showing up and being part of the day with our recovery community. It meant a lot to our members.
We had music ringing πΆ, people dancing ππΊ, face painting π¨, henna tattoos π€², and plenty of great food ππ. The whole day just felt alive. And the best part? It was all peer-ledβfrom cooking, to setting up, to supporting one another and holding it down for the community. Thatβs what recovery looks like when community steps in.
Today really showed how close pride and recovery are. Both are about being yourself, finding your people, and knowing you donβt have to do life alone. π³οΈβππ
Weβre grateful for everyone who came out and helped make today what it was. Days like this remind us why we do what we doβrecovery grows through connection, support, and community. π

Every August, during International Overdose Awareness Month, we pause to remember the lives lost to overdose, honor their memory, and stand with the families, friends, and communities forever impacted by that loss. Itβs also a time to come together to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind one another that recovery is possible and every life matters.
Anchored in Recovery invites you to join us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and connection as we honor those weβve lost and stand beside those continuing their recovery journey. π
